SR Safety Boots & Work Shoes

The slip resistance requirement on ceramic tile with detergent solution (formerly SRA) no longer has a specific code. It became mandatory with the new regulation EN ISO 20345:2022, which therefore includes it in the basic requirements. The SRA, SRB and SRC tests have therefore been eliminated. The SR code (Slip Resistance), which indicates slip resistance on a ceramic tile covered in glycerine, is therefore introduced as an additional requirement (in place of SRC).
With the new regulations, the type of test carried out also changes, as the slip test with the shoe in a flat position has been eliminated and a test with an inclined shoe has been introduced.
